Juncus acutus

In Arabic: سمار, سمار مور

A perennial plant with long, upright stems. The leaves emerge from the base of the plant. The stems are cylindrical and end in sharp points. Blooms from April to June. The leaves of the rush are rich in fibers and are used for weaving and making high-quality paper.
