Otanthus maritimus

A small herbaceous plant, 20-30 cm tall, branching, with upward and whitish-hairy branches (hence its name). Its leaves are small and egg-shaped. The entire plant is covered with dense hair that protects it from sea spray. It blooms from spring to midsummer.
