Deer observation

The deer population in the park comes mostly through the ecological corridor, which runs along the coastal strip, from the Nitzanim reserve area.

Walking along the paths of the park you can identify “sniffing stations” – concentrated clusters of droppings of the alpha male scattered at different points in the park. In this way the deer communicate with each other and mark their territory.

The deer are an endangered species and very vulnerable to predation or damage by dogs.

Please take care of the deer. Dogs are allowed on a leash only!
