Pistacia lentiscus

Arabic: Mistik, eunuch

Evergreen shrub, the leaves are hard and thick. Short flowering, the many fruits are bluish to red in color. Blooms in March to April. The resin is fragrant, chewable (hence its name) and used for seasoning and healing.
