The Kshatot Beach is the most well-known and beloved beach for the residents of the city and the surrounding area. It is a declared beach at the center of Ashdod’s beach strip, on its eastern side, featuring a complex of cafes and restaurants. At the beach, you can enjoy beach soccer fields, which are also used for beach volleyball, and a beach tennis court. On Saturdays, near the promenade, there is a Russian market with colorful stalls. There is nighttime lighting in the area. The beach offers services such as renting chairs, sunbeds, sunshades, and tables at subsidized prices from May to September. This beach has been awarded the prestigious “Blue Flag” international certification.
